Unit 6: Americans in the Mid-1800's

In this Unit, we will begin to really develop our understanding of the growing divide between the North and the South, centered around efforts to abolish slavery. We will explore reform movements that gained momentum, and contrast the growing differences in the economies of the North and the South.
