Motivation and Emotion Study Guide

The final will cover all the material from Unit 6: Motivation and Emotion. The structure of the test will include multiple choice questions, and one long response question.  Everything that will be asked of you on the test is represented in this study guide. Make sure you use all the resources available below. 
*If we did not cover something in class, and it was not part of the assigned reading, it will not be included on the final.

  • What motivates human behavior? Choose any behavior that you can apply one of the many perspectives to that we’ve covered in this class. We’ve talked specifically about Infant Reflexes, Thrill Seeking, Hunger and Eating Disorders, Sex and Sexuality, Exploration, Manipulation and Contact, and Empathy. You can explain one that we’ve covered, or any other that you can think of.  Your response must use one of the theories or perspectives we’ve discussed.
