World History 2 MID-YEAR FINAL

- Using specific and detailed information from the Enlightenment and the Scientific Revolution, explain what your view of human nature is, which Enlightenment thinker your view is most similar to, and what that Enlightenment thinkers view on government was. You must take a specific position.

- Using specific and detailed information from the Industrial Revolution and the non-profit you chose to research, explain how/why workers rights became an issue during the Industrial Revolution, describe Profit Margins, the "Global Supply Chain" and describe one solution that you might suggest to create a more fair and just global supply chain. Describe the major differences between capitalism and socialism, and how socialism arose from the issues of workers rights in the Industrial Revolution. Explain whether or not your response to the essential question is more similar to that of a capitalist or a socialist belief. You must take a specific position.
